ZapSMTP / Tools / Domain checker

Good email starts
with good DNS.

Inspect your domain’s public email records. Find what’s published, see what’s missing, and know what to check next.

Queries go directly from your browser to Cloudflare’s public DNS resolver. This checks published records, not inbox placement. No email is sent.

A record is a starting point.

Finding a DNS record does not prove that it is correctly configured. DKIM must match your sending provider’s selector and key; SPF must authorize the actual sender; DMARC must align with your email’s From domain.

What this checker covers

SPF, DMARC, MX, default BIMI, and DKIM under the selector you provide. Without a selector, common names are probed as a best-effort check. PTR, IP blocklists, full DKIM verification, and spam analysis require the sending IP or a real signed message and are not checked here.

Need the exact records?

Your ZapSMTP dashboard supplies the DNS values for your account. Use those values rather than copying placeholder records from another domain.
